Financial Information Technologies (Fintech) in Tampa was named a Blue Ribbon Business Award winner by the United States Chamber of Commerce. The award recognizes businesses that act as leaders in their communities, consistently demonstrate smart business planning and excellent customer service, and show a true commitment to their employees.
This is the fourth year Fintech has received the honor by the US Chamber. As the leader in processing regulated invoices electronically, Fintech serves over 157,000 relationships in 49 states. It is the only company operating nationally whose services allow retailers purchasing beer, wine, and spirits to pay their distributors electronically from headquarters rather than with currency, check or money order at each of the retailers’ individual locations.
On March 16, 2009 the US Chamber will name seven regional finalists; of those seven, one will be named as Business of the Year at their annual summit in May.
